CLIENT RESPONSIBILITY

As a client, you agree to:

Follow safe sleeping practices in accordance with your country’s recommended guidelines (e.g., Red Nose Australia)

Consult your GP before undertaking any sleep training if your child has a medical condition or ongoing health concern that may affect their ability to safely follow sleep strategies.

Disclose any known medical conditions that may influence your child’s sleep or the suitability of certain approaches.

Commit to your plan and follow the guidance as consistently as possible. Your success is directly related to persistence, consistency, patience, and how closely you adhere to your plan.

WORKING WITH ME – WHAT YOU AGREE TO

By enlisting services with Sleep Boutique, you understand and agree to the following:

Case Study Use: Your child’s sleep journey may be anonymously used in educational case studies. No identifying information will ever be shared unless you provide written consent.

Payment Requirements:

All invoices must be paid in full prior to your consultation.

If payment is not received at least 12 hours prior to your consultation, your appointment will not proceed, and it will be cancelled.

Intake Form Submission:

Your completed intake form must be submitted at least 48 hours before your consultation.

If not received in time, your consultation will be rescheduled at no charge.

Copyright & Confidentiality:

All documents and sleep plans remain the intellectual property of Sleep Boutique.

These materials are confidential and for your family’s use only. They may not be shared, copied, or distributed without written permission.

Travel Fees (For In-Home Consults):

The first 30 minutes of travel are free.

Any additional travel time beyond 30 minutes is charged at $1 per minute

Cancellations & Rescheduling:

If you need to cancel or reschedule your consultation, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice via email or message.

Cancellations made more than 24 hours in advance can be rescheduled at no additional cost.

Cancellations made less than 24 hours before your appointment incur a cancellation fee of 50% of the package fee

If you do not attend your scheduled appointment without notice (“no-show”), your session will be considered complete, and no refund or reschedule will be offered.

Refunds:

Refunds are not provided once services have commenced. This includes:

Completion of your initial consultation (in-person or virtual)

Delivery of your personalised sleep plan/document

Beginning of your post-consultation coaching support (text, email, call support, etc.)

A refund is not honoured based on dissatisfaction with sleep outcomes, as consistency and implementation are the responsibility of the caregiver, and individual results may vary.

No refunds on packages or services partially used

Responsibility:

While I will guide and support you with expert recommendations, you are responsible for implementing any changes to your child’s sleep routine.

The process of improving sleep takes time, consistency, and your active participation.

CONSULTANT RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide a professional, evidence-informed consultation and support experience.

Create an individualised plan based on the information provided in your intake.

Offer post-consultation support as per your chosen package, within business hours. My inbox is always open so you can still message me outside of these hours, however i do only normally respond during my working hours which are Mon-Fri, 8.00 am -8.00 pm, Saturday 8.00-1.00 pm and Sunday closed.

Keep all identifying information confidential.

Case information may be used for educational purposes only with names and identifying details removed, unless explicit consent is provided.

If you experience a family emergency or serious illness and are unable to continue the service, please contact me directly. I will do my best to offer compassionate flexibility, including possible credit toward future services.

These terms are subject to change. If any modifications are made, they will be posted on my website and the date below will be updated accordingly.
